WELCOME
Tonia's Garden Guesthouse has a wonderful location: is located in the town of Torre Annunziata (Oplontis in the Roman Empire times), one of the most interesting and well preserved UNESCO heritage (archeological site).
It's situated in an ancient palace dating back to the end of the 19th century, with typical Vesuvian citrus garden.
Inside the palace, there are 2 Guesthouse that have various bedrooms with en suite on garden level (Family Room).
The interior area is an oasis of beauty, friendliness, and tranquility, situated between a walkable garden, rich in vegetation and fruit trees, and an overhanging flowered terrace.
You are greeted by a grand doorway, carved in walnut and chestnut woods, and crowned with a cornice crafted from “Piperno”, an ancient molten rock from Vesuvius, and decorative iron elements. Passing through an ancient, tall wrought iron gate, you’ll enter the garden, laden with fruit-trees, plants and flowers.
IN THE SURROUNDINGS
It's in the centre of the Gulf of Naples and within short distance from the most important touristic sites of the area: on foot 500m from the seaside and the beaches; by Circumvesuviana, about 3', from Torre Annunziata-Oplonti station to Pompeii-Villa dei Misteri station, Pompeii excavations and the meeting point to Vesuvius; within short distance from the Amalfi coast, Naples, Hercolaneum, Villa Regina-Antiquarium-, Longola, Stabiae, Paestum, Positano, Ravello Sorrento, the Royal Palace of Caserta and Naples Railway central station and Aereoport. And from and from the Museums: MANN (Naples), MAV (Hercolaneum), Antiquarium (Boscoreale) MATT (Terzigno), Identità (Torre Annunziata), Stabiae (Castellammare).
HOW TO GET AROUND
All linked up by an efficient railway system and by sea thanks to ferries and fast ferries. At 500mt there is also a Circumvesuviana Station, a rail line covering Naples and the whole Vesuvian and Coast area (EAV)
Every site of interest is located within short driving distance, too.
DISABLED ACCESS
There is an access for people with disabilities (to the garden, too) and a bedroom suitable for people with limited moblity or wheelchair users.
RELAX IN THE GARDEN OR ON THE TERRACE*
Guests in each room have the availability, during their stay in the warm season, of an area, equipped with table and chairs, to spend relaxing moments in the shade of "Lemon and Orange Trees" or on the terrace (It depends on the selected room).). In addition, a lawn-solarium and an outdoor shower perfect for cooling off are also available for our Guests.
*N. B. Access to the garden and/or the availability of the equipped area may be limited/denied to Guests in the event of events or maintenance activities or otherwise, at the Manager's discretion.
BREAKFAST
Guests can have breakfast in the lounge, on the terrace or, during the summer period, in the garden, preparing it independently using the equipment present in the property.
It is possible to purchase food and drinks in nearby shops or even local specialties from local producers
Upon request, you can receive a voucher to eat breakfast at a discounted rate in a café located in the square just 50 meters from the property
PARKING
Given the ecological footprint of the B&G, due to the traffic density that characterizes the whole area of Naples and its province (including the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts) and the difficulties of finding parking, so we recommend to reach us by public transport and then move around easily via the Circumvesuviana (line local railway), Trenitalia (national railway line) or ferries.
Anyway, there is a large unattended parking lot in the square located in front of the building
It is possible, for those who wish, with payment at their own expense, to leave the car in a nearby garage.

Guests can prepare breakfast independently, using the equipment present in the structure and consume it in the lounge, on the terrace or, during the summer period, in the garden. *
In fact, the Host does not prepare breakfast for his guests
The Host, upon request, can give directions for obtaining jams, fruit juices and other typical products produced by farms in the Vesuvian territory.
Guests who wish to have breakfast outside will be shown nearby cafés.

Upon arrival, they are greeted with a welcome drink.
Then, they will have advice and information together with handed guides, brochures, a detailed guide map of the town and other information pack about Torre Annunziata, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Naples, the Vesuvius, Sorrento and the Amalfi coast as well as about Oplontis, UNESCO Heritage, a few hundred metres from the B&B.

On request, it is possible to contact expert guides for personalized tours for archaeological sites, in Naples, to volcano through the Vesuvius National Park and Museum

TYPICAL CITRUS VESUVIAN GARDEN
Typical citrus vesuvian garden or with soil and stones of volcanic origin, rich in vegetation, which includes fruit trees, trees and ornamental plants, flowers.
From spring equipped with tables, chairs, sunbeds for relaxing moments, and an outdoor shower.
Disabled people have easy access into the garden.

HOW TO REACH US
We recommend our guests to visit Naples, the Vesuvian area, the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento area by public transport.
When you arrive at Naples airport it is possible to take a bus, called Alibus, to the train station in Napoli Piazza Garibaldi. The name of the train station is CIRCUMVESUVIANA where you have to take a train for Torre Annunziata-Oplonti station.
A private transfer from Naples Piazza Garibald or Capodichino Airporti to the B&G is another option.

The local train station called CIRCUMVESUVIANA is 500 mt far from our B&G and the stop is Torre Annunziata Oplonti Station; it is a rail line covering the whole Vesuvian and Coast area from Garibaldi rail Station in Naples.
When you arrive at Oplonti Torre Annunziata get out the station on the right, go straight at the end of the road and turn on the right again in Via Veneto, go along this road for 100 metres cross the road you'll find a mini-market at the corner. Go straight along that road and at the end you'll find the square where our building stands (Piazza Ernesto Cesaro n°24).
Useful information to reach us by car:
From Roma e/o Napoli: Taking the expressway A3 Napoli-Salerno, it is easy to reach us by taking the exit for Torre Annunziata nord. The B&B is at 1, 100 m. from the tollbooth of Torre Annunziata Nord.
From Salerno: Take the exit for Torre Annunziata Sud. We are at 700m from there.
HOW TO MOVE
By Circumvesuviana you can reach easily Pompeii, Herculanum, Villa Regina-Antiquarium, Stabiae, Sorrento, Naples, the Amalfi coast, the meeting point to Vesuvius and Paestum, Positano, Ravello, the Royal Palace of Caserta Naples Railway central station and Aereoport.
By the way, our town has wonderful ruins OPLONTI that are worth to visit. They are just five minute walking distance from our B&G.
